The church has a basement that is reached by descenting some stairs hidden by a book shelf that swings like a door to cover the stairs. The basement is shaped and sized the same as the above floor, and is bare except for an old desk, a few boxes full of files involved with the property, and candles. That is Josiah's secret study and prayer room. People know about it, but are forbidden to enter.
