 "Welcome to Birmingham Lane, a cute little Cul-de-sac located in the picturesque suburban city of Rutherford, Illinois, it's a gorgeous street where friendships last forever, and peace and tranquillity reign. Or at least, that's what the tour books would probably say. In reality, it's a hotbed for lies and gossip, so it's no surprise that the only thing that's constant around here is drama. True, on the surface it's all white picket fences, good neighbours and innocent smiles- but it's residents know exactly what goes on while the outside world's back it turned.
The nearest school is one of those big, private establishments that every mother dreams of, and every teenager hates, so it's really no surprise that it's also the place that all of Birmingham Lane's youth attends. Now, it's our turn to step into the spotlight. We're taking center stage, it's our time now. And if you thought our mothers were the ones with the dramatic lifestyles, wait until you get a look at ours.
Life on the lane has always been dramatic, and like any other school, Birmingham High has it's fair share of troublemakers, preps, jocks, artsy-types. Every clique imaginable is represented here in some way or another, and every kind of scandal has had it's day at least once in our hallowed halls.
But what happens when the parents start taking action against the dramatic lives of us, their kids? The moms and dads of Birmingham lane are up to something. They've got a plan that they honestly think will finally get their unruly teenagers to back down and start taking responsibility. They think they can put an end to our parties and fighting, but what do they know? We think they're all just jealous. For them, the fun's all over, it's Our Time Now."
