The world is crawling with things that go bump in the night - most people just aren’t aware of it. They live out their lives in blissful ignorance of the supernatural society, denying the obvious when they see it. That is where the Watches - the Others - come in.

The Watches consist of beings known as the Others. They are beings of various and tremendous powers. Powers given to them by the Twilight. The Twilight is a shadowy realm always devouring power that only Others can cross into. The Others divide themselves into two sects, the previously mentioned Watches.

The Day Watch. They watch over humanity and protect them from the things that dwell in the dark, policing all Others. They believe that powers are given to people for a reason, and that these powers should be used to help human beings.

Night Watch agents hold a very different view than those of the Light. Their goal is total and complete freedom. If you have the power to get something you want, than by whatever costs, it is within your right to have it. But if you're not strong enough? Than that's too bad.
They stand for all that the Day Watch is against.

There is a war brewing between these two Watches; one that has been going on for ages. Light against Dark, good against evil… right against wrong. But are things as clear as that? What happens when the line between light and dark blurs?

Only you can decide that. Welcome to the life of an Other.

The war between the Light ones and the Dark ones have gone on since the dawn of time and even at the very start of this never-ending escapade, there has always been a rumor: An Artifact of ultimate power is in the hands of a Guardian, remove it from him and you shall shift the balance permanently in your favor.

Enter the sister seers: Aviva and Calixte.
Always on the edge of this war, they've whispered rumors of the Artifact's whereabouts to any Other they came across. Tired of waiting for centuries longer before someone manages to take their words to heart -the sisters have come out into the open and joined opposing sides in the war to give the current location of the Lorhaelian Artifact to their chosen Watch.
It's in our city!
